This is Henley Bridge Holiday Cottage. It’s on Brownbread Street in East Sussex. It’s a converted dairy, so the walls are nice and thick. There’s a big inglenook fireplace, which is good.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 3 Star place, so it’s comfortable and clean but not luxury. The stairs are worth mentioning: they’re open, steep, and a bit narrow in places. Just so you know.
There’s a proper enclosed garden out the back. It’s private. You get on-site parking.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. They do food. The nearest shop is two miles away in the car, so you’ll want to bring supplies.
You’re right on the 1066 Country Walk here, so it’s good for walking. For days out, Battle Abbey is about a 15 minute drive. Bateman's, which was Rudyard Kipling’s house, is maybe 20 minutes. The coast at Bexhill or Pevensey is about a 20 minute drive. Hastings and Eastbourne are a bit further, maybe half an hour.
Inside, it’s got a woodburner, TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There’s bike storage if you need it. No pets.
If you’re planning, the National Trust and Visit 1066 Country sites are useful.
