Coblye Barn

Coblye Barn is on our land at Brightling Park, near Robert's Bridge. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on one level. It's good if you have mobility needs, but please check the details with us first to be sure. You get there down a farm track, about a quarter of a mile from the lane. It's just you out there, with sheep and horses in the fields.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfy. There's an open plan living area, a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Your own patio area too, with a BBQ. You can bring one dog.

The location is quiet. You're in the middle of 500 acres. There are footpaths straight from the door into the parkland. Brightling is known for the Fuller follies, which are these odd towers and buildings dotted about the landscape. They're good for a walk to find them.

The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Robert's Bridge. It's a proper village with what you need. For a bigger day out, Rye is about half an hour's drive. So is Tunbridge Wells. Brighton is about 45 minutes. The mainline station at Robert's Bridge is five minutes by car if you're coming from London.

If you like gardens, Bateman's (Rudyard Kipling's old place) is close by. The National Trust runs it. Sarah Raven's cutting garden at Perch Hill is also nearby if that's your thing.
