Cornbrash Farm Cottage

Cornbrash Farm Cottage is in Earl's Down. It's in the corner of the yard by our farmhouse, which is about four hundred years old. You're on your own, it's detached. We've got about nine acres here with some cattle and pigs, so it's a proper working farm. You'll see us going about.

It's all on one floor, which is handy. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything you need is there: TV, wifi, washing machine, bedding and towels. Parking right outside.

The place is surrounded by fields. Walks start from the door. It's very quiet. The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away, does decent food. The nearest shop is a mile and a half in Heathfield.

If you like cycling, the Cuckoo Trail is good. It's a flat, off-road path that goes for miles. About a twenty minute drive away.

Lots to see if you want a drive out. Bateman's, Rudyard Kipling's old house, is lovely. So is Pashley Manor Gardens, especially in spring. Battle Abbey is about half an hour. Herstmonceux Castle and its gardens are worth a visit too. There are a few vineyards around if that's your thing.

The coast is about half an hour's drive. Eastbourne, Bexhill, Pevensey Bay. Brighton is a bit further, maybe an hour.
