Cowbeech Farm Cottage
Cowbeech Farm Cottage is on our farm, on the edge of the village. It's detached, used to be part of the old dairy. You get your own enclosed garden off the old farmyard.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. Everything you need is there.
The garden is yours. You can also walk around the main farmhouse gardens and the lake if you like. They're quite nice, they've been in magazines. There's a Japanese garden bit.
The pub is about a minute's walk away. It's old, from the 1600s. They do food. The village shop is about three quarters of a mile.
It's good for walking and cycling right from the door. The Cuckoo Trail is nearby for traffic-free paths. We're on the edge of the High Weald area.
For days out, Michelham Priory and Herstmonceux Castle are close. Drusillas Zoo is good for kids. The Bluebell Railway is about a 20 minute drive. Eastbourne and the beach is half an hour. Battle is about 8 miles.
Inside, there's a wood burner for colder nights. We provide the wood. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside the cottage and an electric vehicle charger.
