Woodpeckers

Woodpeckers is a cottage attached to our house, here in Trolliloes near Cowbeech. It faces south so it gets the sun.

It's a 4 Star place, sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles. There's one bathroom.

You get a kitchen that opens into the dining room, and a sitting room at the front. The doors open out onto an enclosed patio area with a table and chairs. It's your own space.

The view from the dining room looks out over our garden and the fields next door. There are alpacas in the field sometimes. The fishing lake is a few minutes' walk down the lane.

For facilities, everything's included: bedding, towels, electricity. There's a dishwasher and washing machine, and parking right outside.

We're in the countryside so you'll need a car. The nearest pub is about a mile away. There's a farm shop two miles away, and Hailsham is a ten-minute drive for supermarkets.

Eastbourne and the coast are about a 25-minute drive. Battle Abbey is 20 minutes away if you're interested in that history. There are plenty of walking paths from the door, or you can drive into the South Downs for longer hikes.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. We ask that you keep them out of the bedrooms, please.
