Mount House Barn is in Burwash. It's a converted 17th-century barn. The main thing is the view. It looks out over fields from the garden.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kitted out. There's a wood burner in the living room for when it's cold.
The garden is enclosed. Good for a dog. There's a place called All Things Dog Park nearby, which is a secure field for them to run in.
You're in the High Weald. Good walking country. High Weald AONB has details on footpaths and cycling trails. Bodiam Castle is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a National Trust property.
Eastbourne, Battle and Rye are all within half an hour's drive if you want a day out.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. We take one dog.
