Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is on a working farm in Birchett's Green. It's detached. You have your own enclosed garden. There's a patio with a table and chairs. You're looking out over our fields and orchards towards Bewl Water.

The cottage is two bedrooms and sleeps four. One double, one twin. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. There are beams in the living area. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and sitting area all together. The kitchen has what you need. French doors open to the garden.

You're about two miles from Wadhurst village. It's got a Co-op, a butcher, a few pubs and a railway station. Tunbridge Wells is about fifteen minutes by car.

Bewl Water is the big thing here. It's about a ten minute drive. You can walk around it, hire a bike, or go out on the water. For a walk, you can just head out from the cottage onto the farm tracks.

If you fancy a trip out, Bodiam Castle and Sissinghurst Castle Garden are both within half an hour. Battle Abbey and the 1066 battlefield are about twenty five minutes away. For a bigger beach day, the coast at Hastings or Rye is roughly forty five minutes.

It's a working farm, so you'll see and hear the usual things, like tractors during the day and sometimes the sheep. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right by the cottage. The facilities are all included: WiFi, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels.
