Finchcocks Oast is in Riseden, Kent. It's a converted oast house. It's a big place, sleeps twenty two. Nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms.
It's got a four star rating. It was on Channel 4's The Restoration Man. You can find that episode on YouTube if you want to see the work that went into it.
The main thing is space. The rooms are very big, high ceilings, oak floors. There's a balcony upstairs off the main living area. It looks out over the hop gardens and fields.
Outside there's a private heated swimming pool and a tennis court.
Inside, it's got a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site.
It's a rural spot. For a day out, Sissinghurst Castle Garden is about twenty five minutes by car. The National Trust has the details. Bodiam Castle is about half an hour away, that's English Heritage. For walks, the High Weald area is all around.
No pets.
