It's Finchcocks Oast in Riseden, Kent. It's a converted oast house, so it's a big round bit in the middle. It sleeps twenty-two, which is why there are nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's done to a good standard.
The main space is huge, with a high ceiling and a balcony upstairs that looks out over the fields and hop gardens. The floors are oak. It's a light, open sort of building.
Outside, there's a heated swimming pool for your use, and a tennis court. There's plenty of parking.
Inside, you've got the things you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a wood burning stove. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
It's a rural spot. For a proper day out, Sissinghurst Castle Garden is about twenty minutes away. Royal Tunbridge Wells is roughly half an hour. The coast at Hastings or Rye is within a thirty minute drive.
If you're interested in the history, the owners were on The Restoration Man when it was being done. You can find that on YouTube.
