Cox Cottage
This is Cox Cottage in Pembury. It's next to our farmhouse on a smallholding we run, about 18 acres. It's detached, with its own garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and in good order. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs to worry about.
The farm has cattle, sheep, and some ducks and chickens wandering about. There are footpaths right from the gate into the fields and woods. If you fancy fishing, I can sort out a day pass for the lake.
Tunbridge Wells is under five miles away for shops and cafes. You can get to London from Paddock Wood station in about 50 minutes.
For days out, Sissinghurst Castle Garden is a 20 minute drive. Bodiam Castle is about half an hour. The coast at Hastings is around 40 minutes by car. There are a few good vineyards nearby too if that's your thing.
In the cottage there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. Sorry, no pets.
