Lower Pantiles Apartment is on the Pantiles parade in Tunbridge Wells. It's a first-floor flat for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
The main thing is the location. You're right on the colonnade, above the shops. The bedroom and the living room both look out over the tiles. You can sit and watch what's going on below.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs up to the flat are a typical building staircase, not steep but there are a few of them.
The kitchen is small but it's got everything: a dishwasher, washing machine, the usual. There's a table with stools. You'll probably eat out a lot because everything is on your doorstep, but it's there if you need it.
The Pantiles itself has cafes, restaurants, and some speciality shops. There's often something on, like a farmers' market or a festival. You can try the spring water from the Chalybeate Well, which is how the town started.
For a bigger shop, the main High Street is a five-minute walk away.
If you want to get out of town, the countryside starts quickly. The National Trust has several places in Kent within a short drive, like Scotney Castle or Ightham Mote. For a proper walk, the High Weald or Bedgebury Forest are about a 30-minute drive.
Facilities: TV, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
