Cowford Oast
Cowford Oast is a converted oast house round the back of our place in Boarshead. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden. The garden's ours really, but you get a private patio bit with a table. It's very quiet out here, just fields and trees. But you're only about ten minutes in the car from Tunbridge Wells if you need a supermarket or want to look round the Pantiles.
It's just for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy, but it's been done up properly. There's a woodburning stove for winter, and the WiFi is decent. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine. You can use the barbecue if the weather's good.
You can walk straight out into the lanes from here. For a day out, Penshurst Place and Scotney Castle are close. The vineyards at Lamberhurst are worth a visit if that's your thing. The coast is a bit of a drive, about 45 minutes or so.
There's a pub about two miles away in the village. It does food.
