The Warren Yurt is in Chuck Hatch, near Groombridge. It's on the grounds of the Go Wild activity centre. It's a single yurt, so you're on your own out there.
It's for two people. One bedroom and a bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and functional. There's a wood burner for heat, which you'll need to manage. The yurt is wheelchair accessible, which is good if you need that.
You should know it's a working activity centre. There's a shooting range on site. You might hear air rifles or people doing archery during the day. It's not a silent, remote retreat. If you're coming for the activities, it's very handy. If you're not, just be aware.
The shop is about three miles away in Groombridge. The nearest pub is a bit further, about three and a quarter miles.
For things to do, Tunbridge Wells is close for shops and restaurants. For walks, the High Weald around here is National Trust land. Chartwell, Churchill's house, is about a 25 minute drive. Scotney Castle is similar. The coast at Eastbourne or Hastings is about 45 minutes if you want the sea.
Facilities: the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the yurt. There's electricity. No pets.
