Ash Cottage
Ash Cottage is on Horney Common, right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. It's a single-storey place, so everything's on one level. Two bedrooms, sleeps four, with one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating.
The cottage is part of a small private estate called Nutley Edge. You can walk around the grounds. There are woods and a stream. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. We take up to two pets.
Inside, it's straightforward. There's a TV, WiFi, and the usual things like a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
The local pub is about a mile and a quarter away. Nutley village is close, with a few shops and places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, you'd drive to Uckfield, which takes about 15 minutes.
You're right on the Ashdown Forest. It's good for walking straight from the door. For a day out, Sheffield Park and Garden is nearby. Bewl Water is about a 30 minute drive for fishing and watersports.
The estate is owned by a charity, so the money from your stay goes towards their work.
