Crown Cottage

Crown Cottage is in Horsted Keynes. It's one of a pair of semi-detached cottages, set back from the green. You get a garden at the back. It looks out over the green at the front.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. One's an en-suite off the main bedroom. One bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out underneath. It's got a 4 Star rating.

There are two pubs within about 70 yards. The village shop is fifty yards away. You have one dedicated parking space, but there's room for more on the shared drive if you need it.

The stairs are fairly typical for a cottage. Not a spiral, but they turn a corner and are a bit steep in parts. There's a stairgate at the top.

The kitchen is a good size with granite worktops. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave a basket of logs for you to start with.

The village has a cricket green and a tennis club. The Bluebell Railway station is here in the village. You can get steam train trips from there. Bluebell Railway.

Haywards Heath is about a ten-minute drive for big supermarkets. Glyndebourne opera house is roughly twenty minutes away by car. Glyndebourne. The Ashdown Forest, which is good for walking, is about a fifteen-minute drive. Ashdown Forest. Brighton is about forty minutes if you fancy the coast.

In terms of what's there: all bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a highchair. The garden has a patio with furniture. No pets, I'm afraid.
