Sheriff Cottage is in Highbrook, West Sussex. It's an end of terrace cottage, one of three that are joined together. The lane outside is quiet.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The bathroom has a freestanding bath. The stairs are fine, but they're fairly steep as you'd expect in an older cottage.
You can walk to Horsted Keynes station, it's about half a mile. That's for the Bluebell Railway steam trains. The village of Horsted Keynes is about two miles away and has two pubs and a shop.
The garden is a proper feature. It's got a mix of cottage plants and some black bamboo. There's also a separate garden room with a TV, which is handy if people want to do different things.
Inside, the front room is comfortable. The kitchen is compact but has what you need. The dining hall has space for six.
For days out, Wakehurst is nearby, as is Standen. Sheffield Park Garden is right by the other end of the steam railway. Ardingly Reservoir is good for a walk.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner, wifi, and parking. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
