Sheriff Cottage is just outside Highbrook in West Sussex. It's the end one of three cottages attached together. The lane is very quiet.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The bathroom has a freestanding bath. The stairs are normal.
The garden is nice. It's a mix of a traditional cottage garden with flowers, and some black bamboo for a different look. There's a separate garden room with a big TV, good if someone wants to watch something different.
You can walk to Horsted Keynes station in about fifteen minutes. That's for the Bluebell Railway steam trains. Horsted Keynes village has two pubs and a shop.
If you like gardens, there are a few big ones nearby. Wakehurst is about a 20 minute drive. Sheffield Park Garden is near the other end of the railway, maybe 15 minutes by car. Standen is near East Grinstead, about 25 minutes away.
For walks, Ardingly Reservoir is close. The South Downs are about a 30 minute drive to the south.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is small but has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
