Beech Cottage is on Horney Common in East Sussex. It's one of 12 cottages on a private estate called Nutley Edge. The estate is run by a charity.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is useful for that. There's also a cot and highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a patio with a table. The view from there is over fields. The estate itself is about 11 acres. You can walk around it. There's a stream and some woodland.
The village of Nutley is nearby. It's a short walk. There's a local pub there that does food. For a bigger shop, Uckfield is about a 15-minute drive.
The cottage is right on the edge of Ashdown Forest. You can walk straight out onto it. It's good for walking and biking. If you want to go a bit further, Sheffield Park Garden is about a 20-minute drive. Scotney Castle is about half an hour away. Bewl Water is also within half an hour for water sports or fishing.
There's parking right outside the cottage.
