Beech Cottage is in Horney Common, near Nutley. It's part of a private estate called Nutley Edge, which has a dozen cottages altogether. You get your own patio and garden.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean without being posh. The bathroom is on the ground floor.
The estate is about 11 acres, so you can walk around it. There's a bit of ancient woodland and a stream. You'll see sheep in the fields in spring.
It's good for dogs, you can bring up to two. The garden is enclosed.
Nutley village is close by and has a couple of shops and places to eat. Uckfield is about 15 minutes away for bigger supermarkets.
The main thing here is the location. You're right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. You can walk straight out onto it. It's good for cycling or just a quiet walk.
Within half an hour you've got a few places. Sheffield Park and Garden is nice for a stroll. Bewl Water is about 20 minutes away if you fancy watersports or fishing. Royal Tunbridge Wells is about 25 minutes.
The place is run by a charity called Outward. The profits go towards their work, which is helping disadvantaged people.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a BBQ as well.
