Little Saxby
Little Saxby is an annex attached to our house. It’s for two people. You’ll see our house as you pull into the drive, but the annex has its own proper front door around the side.
Inside, it’s one open plan room really. It’s long. One end is the kitchen, which has everything, including a dishwasher. The other end is the bedroom area with a king size bed. There's a separate bathroom in the middle. The windows at the bedroom end look out over the town roofs and the fields beyond. It's a decent view.
Outside, there’s a private patio around the back with a table. It gets the sun in the afternoon. At the front, it’s just a small gravel spot with a bench.
Crowborough is a town on the edge of Ashdown Forest. It’s useful. There’s a supermarket a few minutes’ drive away on the industrial estate, and a local pub about a ten-minute walk. The pub does food.
You’re well placed for walks on the Forest. The Ashdown Forest website has maps. Hartfield, where the Winnie the Pooh stuff is, is about 15 minutes by car.
If you want a day out, Tunbridge Wells is roughly 20 minutes away. Brighton or Eastbourne are about 50 minutes’ drive if you fancy the coast. National Trust places like Scotney Castle are within 35 minutes or so.
Facilities wise: it’s all there. Wifi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
