Hawthorn is in Horney Common, part of the Nutley Edge estate. That's near Ashdown Forest in East Sussex. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed and there's a patio with a good view over the fields. The estate has about 11 acres of its own land you can walk around. There are other cottages nearby, so it's not totally isolated.
Inside, it's straightforward. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a living room, a kitchen, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Nutley village is close. It has a shop and a couple of places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, you'd drive to Uckfield, which is about 15 minutes away.
You're right on the edge of Ashdown Forest. It's good for walking straight from the door. For a day out, Sheffield Park and Garden is nearby. Ashdown Forest itself is all around you. If you want to go further, the coast at Eastbourne or Brighton is about a 40-minute drive.
The estate is run by a charity called Outward. The profits from your stay go to their work.
