Nutley Farmhouse is a large cottage, part of a bigger estate called Nutley Edge down near Horney Common in East Sussex. It's the biggest one they've got here.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The estate has twelve cottages in total and you can walk around the grounds. There's a bit of ancient woodland and a stream. It's a quiet spot.
You can bring dogs, up to two.
The facilities are all there. It's got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ outside.
Nutley village is close by. There's a shop and a couple of places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, you'd drive to Uckfield, that's about fifteen minutes.
You're right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. Good for walks straight from the door. For a day out, Sheffield Park and Garden is lovely, especially in spring or autumn. Scotney Castle is a bit further but worth it.
If you're feeling active, Bewl Water is about a twenty-five minute drive. They do sailing and other watersports. There's also skiing and indoor climbing at a place near Tunbridge Wells, which is roughly half an hour away.
The whole estate is run by a charity called Outward. The profits from your stay go towards their work, which is helping disadvantaged people.
All twelve cottages on the estate can be booked together if you've got a big group, like for a wedding or a family gathering. You'd need to call their booking team to sort that out.
