Holly Cottage
Holly Cottage is on a private estate called Nutley Edge, near Horney Common in East Sussex. It's a timber-clad cottage. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. The living room is spacious and looks out over a decked area. The view from there is pretty good, across the countryside.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The charity that owns the estate, Outward, uses the profits to help disadvantaged people. So your stay supports that.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. You can bring two pets. There's parking right there, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine.
You're on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. You can just walk out from the cottage onto the estate's land, about 11 acres. There's ancient woodland and a stream. In spring you'll see lambs in the fields.
Nutley village is close by. It's got a few shops and places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, Uckfield is about 15 minutes in the car.
For walking, you're right on Ashdown Forest. For a gentler day out, Sheffield Park and Garden is nearby. Bewl Water is within half an hour for watersports. Tunbridge Wells is also about a 30 minute drive.
All twelve properties on the estate can be booked together for big groups, like weddings. They sleep about 50 people in total. You'd need to call the booking team for that.
