Birch Cottage

Birch Cottage is in Horney Common, East Sussex. It's part of a small group of cottages on the Nutley Edge estate. It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four.

The cottage has one bathroom. There's a living room and a deck outside. The deck looks out over fields. You can wander around the estate's 11 acres, which is nice. There are woods and a stream. It's very quiet.

It's got a 3 Star rating. That's accurate. Things are clean and in good order, but it's not a luxury place. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that.

There's a local pub a walk away. For a big shop, you'd drive to Uckfield, which takes about 15 minutes.

The cottage is right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. You can walk straight into it. For a good day out, Sheffield Park and Garden is close by. Scotney Castle is a bit further. Bewl Water is about a 20 minute drive if you fancy water sports or fishing.

The place is run by a charity called Outward. Your stay helps fund their work. If you have a big group, you can book all the cottages together.
