Walnut Walk

It's called Walnut Walk. It’s a timber-clad cottage on a private estate near Horney Common, which is just outside Nutley.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a ground floor wet room. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean rather than luxurious. It sits in about 11 acres of its own land, so there’s plenty of space.

You can bring up to two dogs. There’s a little seating area with a table and chairs out the back.

The place is run by a charity called Outward, so the money from your stay goes to help their work. You can book the whole estate of 12 cottages if you’ve got a big group or a wedding.

Nutley village is close by, with a couple of pubs and shops. For a big supermarket, you’d drive to Uckfield, about fifteen minutes away.

You’re right on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. Good for walks straight from the door. Sheffield Park and Garden is nearby for a visit. A bit further on, you’ve got Scotney Castle.

For something more active, Bewl Water is about half an hour’s drive. They do sailing and that sort of thing. Royal Tunbridge Wells is also within half an hour.

Facilities are what you’d expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right there. They’ve got a cot and highchair if you need them.
