Honeypot Cottage

Honeypot Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on our vineyard. The main house is next door. It's behind a gate off a quiet lane, so it's private and quiet.

The living space is one big open room. It feels spacious. There are two single beds in the bedroom, which has its own shower room. For two more people, the sofa in the living area folds out into a double bed. It's rated 3 Star so it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious.

The entrance and main rooms are all on one level, with a small step at the front door. The flooring is mostly laminate and tiles. It might work for someone with limited mobility, but you'd need to check the specifics.

You're welcome to walk around the vineyard. The views towards the South Downs are nice. Please keep dogs on a lead near the cottage, but there's plenty of land for them further out.

There's a hard tennis court right outside the cottage you can use. You can park next to the cottage and we have space to store bikes.

The village of Fletching is about a mile away. You can walk there via a footpath from the bottom of the vineyard. It's got a good pub, The Griffin, and a little shop. For a bigger day out, Sheffield Park and Garden and the Bluebell Railway are less than ten minutes by car. The Ashdown Forest is close by for walking.

If you like golf, Piltdown golf course is just down the road. The coast, like Birling Gap, is about 35 minutes away.

Facilities are all included. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
