This is Mallingdown Farm. It's on Down Street in East Sussex. It's a converted oast house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The stairs go up to what they call the galleried living room. It's a big, open space on the first floor, which is a bit unusual.
The cottage is part of a working farm, next to our house and garden. You get a small terrace and, past our garden, there's a bit of grass you can use with good views. Parking is round the back for two cars.
Inside, it's got underfloor heating. The kitchen has a big granite island. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and Sky TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
You can use the shared tennis court.
For things to do, Glyndebourne is about a fifteen minute drive. Lewes and the South Downs are close. Brighton's roughly half an hour away by car. Eastbourne and the Seven Sisters cliffs are about a forty minute drive.
