Poundgate Park House
Poundgate Park House is in Poundgate, East Sussex. It's in the countryside but not far from Crowborough. The house is detached, big and Victorian, set in its own grounds.
It sleeps sixteen people in eight bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It suits big family groups or friends getting together.
The rooms are large. The kitchen is big enough for a few people to cook at once. There's a separate living room with a woodburning stove and a conservatory that looks out over the garden. The garden has a patio with a barbecue.
There's also a games room in an outbuilding with a pool table. Parking is on site for several cars.
A local pub is about a minute's walk down the road. It serves food.
For local walks, the Ashdown Forest is right on the doorstep. It's good for a proper wander. The Bluebell Railway is about a 15-minute drive. Further afield, Royal Tunbridge Wells is about 20 minutes by car, and Brighton is roughly 40 minutes.
The facilities cover what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
