Poundgate Park House is near Crowborough, in East Sussex. It's a big detached house in the countryside. The garden is large. There are some nice views from the windows, and the conservatory is a good spot to sit and look out.
The house sleeps sixteen, so it's for big groups. There are eight bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped.
The layout is mostly open plan downstairs. There's a big kitchen and living area with a wood-burning stove. There's also a separate games room with a pool table. The stairs are normal, not steep cottage stairs.
A couple of the bedrooms and a wet room bathroom are on the ground floor, which is useful. There's plenty of parking on the drive.
If you don't want to cook, the pub is literally a minute's walk up the road. They do food. For a bigger shop, Crowborough is about ten minutes away by car.
You're well placed for getting out. It's about a thirty minute drive to the coast at Eastbourne. Brighton is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes. Tunbridge Wells is about twenty minutes away. For walks, you've got the Ashdown Forest on your doorstep. Sheffield Park Garden is a pleasant National Trust property nearby.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, and bike storage. WiFi is provided. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
