Silvergrove Cottage

Silvergrove Cottage is an annexe on the edge of Newick. It's for two people only. It’s modern inside, with high ceilings and underfloor heating.

You get one main room that’s the living space and kitchen, then a separate king-size bedroom. The bedroom has big windows with electric blinds. The shower is a wet room, so the whole floor gets wet. It’s practical.

There’s a small patio you get to from the bedroom doors. Parking is at the front. You can fit bikes in the passage next to the cottage.

The village shop and a pub are about a five minute walk. They’re fine. You can walk onto Chailey Common from the front gate.

For a day out, Sheffield Park is a ten minute drive. It’s a National Trust place with good walks. Sheffield Park and Garden. Lewes is about fifteen minutes by car. It’s a proper town with a castle, cafes, and the River Ouse running through it.

Brighton is under half an hour if you want the seafront or the lanes. Haywards Heath station is fifteen minutes away for trains.

In terms of what’s here: there’s a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, a TV with Netflix and Sky. Bedding and towels are included. There’s an electric car charger. No pets.
