The Chalet
The Chalet is in Frant, East Sussex. It's a one-bedroom place that sleeps two. It's detached, but it's at the bottom of our garden. There's a path and some trees between us, so it's private. You get the lawn outside it.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and comfortable, but don't expect anything fancy. It's all open plan inside, which makes it feel light. The bed's in the main room. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and two hot plates. You can do basic cooking. The shower is good, it's a walk-in.
Outside there's a south-facing patio with seating, a BBQ, and a patio heater. It's a nice spot.
We have two dogs and they'll probably come and say hello. Your dog is very welcome. There's no gate on the path to our main garden, so dogs might wander. That's fine with us. We have a large pond in our garden too, so just be aware of that if you have a dog. Our whole grounds are enclosed, so they can't get out to the road.
Frant is good for walks. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance. The train station is on the main line, so you can get to London in about an hour if you want.
For days out, Tunbridge Wells is close. The coast at Hastings or Eastbourne is less than an hour's drive. Penshurst Place, Bewl Water, and Scotney Castle are all within about half an hour.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, bedding and towels are included, and you have your own garden area. One well-behaved pet is allowed.
