Down Studio

Down Studio is in Frant, East Sussex. It's attached to our Georgian house, but it's completely separate. You get your own front door.

It's a small place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not fancy. Everything is on one level. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a table that seats four, which is useful if you have friends nearby over for a drink.

You can bring one dog. There's on site parking. Bedding and towels are included.

Frant village is a short walk away. There's a shop and a couple of pubs. Tunbridge Wells is about a ten minute drive for more shops and restaurants.

For walks, the countryside around here is nice. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is about half an hour away. So is Bodiam Castle. Visit 1066 Country has information about other local things to do, like Battle Abbey.
