Down Studio
Down Studio is an annexe attached to our house on The Platt. The house is Georgian and used to house school teachers. The studio is all on one level.
It sleeps two, has one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but not fancy.
It's a good base if you're working in the area or just want a quiet few days. There's room for four to sit at the table if you have friends over.
The village of Frant is a short walk away. It's pretty and has a shop. Royal Tunbridge Wells is about a ten minute drive north if you want more shops, restaurants, or a cinema.
For walks, the countryside around here is nice. There are a lot of gardens and historic houses to visit within a half hour drive, like Standen and Sissinghurst Castle. The coast at Hastings or Rye is about 45 minutes away.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. Parking is on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
