Sawmill Cottage
Sawmill Cottage is in Tunbridge Wells. It's a one bedroom place, so it's just for two people. We get a lot of couples.
It's one of the old buildings that used to service The Pantiles. It's been done up inside with oak fittings. There's a roll top bath in the bathroom. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun in the afternoon. It's a proper suntrap.
You're right in the town. The Pantiles is literally a minute's walk away. That's the old colonnaded bit with the cafes and shops. There's a Sainsbury's Local about five minutes walk away for groceries.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for the colder months, and a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi is included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for one car on the gravel drive.
For things to do, you've got the commons for walks on your doorstep. For a longer day out, Hever Castle is about half an hour's drive. Brighton and the coast is about the same. The National Trust has a few places like Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Standen House within easy reach.
