Dairy Cottage is in Pembury, Kent. It's a detached cottage that used to be the milking parlour on the farm. It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There's a bathroom, and it's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's a bit nicer than your average.
It's set in an old farmyard, with orchards and woodland around it. The garden is enclosed, so it's private. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
Inside, it's open plan. One bedroom, and the bathroom is en suite. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there.
Out the side of the cottage, there's a footpath that leads into woodland and a nature reserve. Just across the track is Spring Hill Trout Waters, if you fancy a go at fishing.
The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are about a mile and a half away. Royal Tunbridge Wells and The Pantiles are less than three miles. It's a spa town, so there's a bit more going on there.
For a day out, the coast at Hastings is about 40 minutes by car. There's a golf course four miles away.
There's a lot of history nearby if that's your thing. Plenty of National Trust places. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is famous. Chartwell, Churchill's house, is close. So is Ightham Mote. Bodiam Castle isn't far either.
If you need to get a train, Paddock Wood station can get you to London in about 50 minutes. Ashford is the stop for the Eurostar to Paris.
