Dairy Cottage is in Pembury, Kent. It’s a detached cottage, converted from an old milking parlour. It's for two people only.
It has a 4 Star rating so it's well finished. There's one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom upstairs. The stairs are spiral and quite steep, so you need to be sure-footed.
It's detached and quiet, set back from the lane in what used to be the farmyard. There’s an enclosed garden. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a woodburning stove. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Parking is right outside.
A footpath leads from the side of the cottage straight into the woods and a nature reserve. Just across the track is Spring Hill Trout Waters if you fancy some fishing.
You’re about three miles from Tunbridge Wells and The Pantiles. The nearest shop and pub are a mile and a half away, so you’ll likely drive.
There are a lot of National Trust places within half an hour. Chartwell, Sissinghurst Gardens, and Bodiam Castle are all in that range. For a day at the coast, Hastings is about 40 minutes’ drive.
