Willows View
Willows View is a one-bedroom apartment in Etchingham. It's detached, so you're on your own. It sleeps two.
The main thing is the view. It's up on a bit of a hill, so you look out over the Sussex countryside. It's a modern build, so everything feels quite new and clean. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out.
There's parking right there. Inside, it's got the things you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher. The shower is a walk-in one. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
The train station is about a five-minute walk away. You can get to London in just over an hour. It's handy if you want a day in the city without driving.
In the other direction, a short train ride gets you to Battle. You can see Battle Abbey there. Hastings is a bit further on the same line. That's your classic seaside day out, with the old town and the cliff railway.
If you're driving, there's a lot nearby. Bodiam Castle is about ten minutes away. Scotney Castle and Bateman's are within half an hour. For a walk or a cycle, Bewl Water and Bedgebury Pinetum are close by too.
