Galley Hill Aspect

Galley Hill Aspect is an apartment on the third floor of a building in Bexhill. It's one of those modern blocks right on the seafront. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the lawn and the beach huts to the sea.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bedroom has zip-link beds so you can have it as a double or two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's recently been done up, so everything feels clean and new. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a small balcony off the living room with a table and chairs.

There's a lift in the building, so you don't have to worry about the stairs. The whole place is on one level inside. The windows are double glazed, so it's quiet. The blinds in the bedrooms are good blackout ones.

You're right on the seafront path. To your left, it's about a twenty minute walk along the promenade into Bexhill town centre. There's a train station there with direct lines to London. To your right, you can walk up over Galley Hill to the Ravenside retail park, which has a supermarket, a swimming pool, and other things.

The De La Warr Pavilion is a ten minute stroll along the front. It's an Art Deco building with a theatre and gallery: De La Warr Pavilion. Bexhill Museum is nearby too.

If you keep walking west along the coast path, you can get to St Leonards and then Hastings in under an hour. Hastings has the pier, the old town, and all the usual seaside things. Eastbourne is about a twenty minute drive or a short train ride the other way.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.

For planning days out, the National Trust South East page is useful, and so is Visit Hastings for the wider area.
