5 Coast Lodge Pevensey Bay

This is 5 Coast Lodge, in Pevensey Bay. It's a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of a building that was originally part of a big country house. It's quite simple, but the main thing is the view. You're right on the beach, and you can see all the way along the coast towards Hastings one way and Eastbourne the other.

It sleeps two, but there's also a folding single bed in the living room if you've got a child with you. The bedroom has a double bed and doors out to a small balcony. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The kitchen has what you need to cook. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi and TV are there. Bedding and towels are included.

You're on the beach. There's a pub about 200 yards along from it. Pevensey Castle is here, that's where William the Conqueror landed. Eastbourne is a short drive away, about fifteen minutes. It's got the pier and the promenade.

Within about half an hour, you can get to Battle Abbey, Hastings Old Town, or the town of Rye. Brighton is further, maybe forty-five minutes depending on traffic. The National Trust page for Pevensey Castle is useful if you're planning a visit.
