5 Coast Lodge Pevensey Bay

5 Coast Lodge is in Pevensey Bay. It's an apartment on the second floor of a building that used to be a country house.

The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the beach and the sea. You can see along the coast towards Hastings one way and Eastbourne the other. The bedroom has a balcony where you can stand and look at it.

It sleeps two adults in the double bedroom. There's also a folding single bed in the living room for a child if you need it. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, so you can have a bath if you want.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's clean and tidy. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are all included. You can park on site.

You're right on the beach. The shingle beach is basically outside. There's a pub about 200 yards along the beachfront. They serve food.

If you want history, Pevensey Castle is right there. It's English Heritage. Pevensey Castle. For a day out, Eastbourne is about five miles away. It's got all the shops and you can walk along the pier. Brighton is about half an hour's drive if you want more of that.

Battle Abbey and the 1066 battlefield are about twenty minutes inland. Rye is roughly half an hour. The South Downs National Park is just to the west, good for walking.
