Kiln Cottage
Kiln Cottage is in Rye. It's a small cottage for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but don't expect anything luxurious.
The best thing about it is the location. You can walk into the centre of Rye in about six or seven minutes. It's a very historic town, a couple of good pubs, plenty of places to eat.
The cottage itself is open plan downstairs, kitchen and living area together. There's a small enclosed garden out the back, which is handy if you're bringing a dog. You can park right outside.
It's on a road, so you get some traffic noise. Not constant, but you'll notice it. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep, typical for an old cottage.
From there, you can drive to Camber Sands in about ten minutes for the beach. Hastings is about twenty minutes away. If you like walking, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is close by. For a longer day out, Bodiam Castle or Sissinghurst Castle Garden are both within a half hour drive.
It's got WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
