Beehive Cottage
This is Beehive Cottage, in Wittersham. It's in the High Weald, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a shop, a pub, and a play park. The bus goes to Tenterden or Rye from the stop nearby.
The cottage sleeps up to six but has two bedrooms. One is a kingsize that can split into two singles, the other is a double. There's one main bathroom upstairs with a shower, and a second small toilet downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's got a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. All bedding and towels are provided. WiFi is included.
Outside, there's a patio and a decent-sized garden. There's a barbecue, some furniture, and a summer house with a games table. The garden has a small, shallow pond, so you might want to keep an eye on toddlers or dogs around it.
You can bring pets, up to two are welcome.
For getting out, you're not far from things. Camber Sands beach is about eight miles away. Bodiam Castle is about a twenty minute drive. For wider walks and information, The High Weald Website is useful. Tenterden, with its steam railway, is about fifteen minutes by car. Rye, for the old town and harbour, is about twenty minutes.
