Quince Cottage is in Tenterden. It's a terraced house, but it's end of terrace so you just have the one neighbour. It sleeps five people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and a shower room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The front door opens straight into the living and dining room. There's a wood burner there. The kitchen is through an archway at the back. It leads out to a private courtyard garden. There's a covered area out there with a table.
The stairs are the original cottage stairs, so they're steep and a bit narrow. You need to watch your head on the beams upstairs too.
Tenterden high street is about a five minute walk. There are shops, cafes and a few pubs. The Kent & East Sussex Railway steam trains run from the station at the top of the high street.
If you drive, you can get to a few places within half an hour. Bodiam Castle is about 20 minutes away. Rye and the beach at Camber Sands are about 25 minutes. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is roughly the same.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the drive at the front. No pets, sorry.
