Hollyhock Cottage Tenterden

Hollyhock Cottage is in Tenterden. It's on a side street about three minutes' walk from the high street. It's quiet but you can easily walk to the shops and pubs.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It was a health clinic before, but we converted it into a cottage in late 2022. Everything's fairly new. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Downstairs is one long room for the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. It works. Upstairs, the bathroom is between the two bedrooms. The stairs are a standard sort of cottage staircase.

Out the back there's a small walled garden. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue.

You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, a TV, and wifi. We can also put a cot and highchair in if you need them.

Tenterden's a nice town. The high street is wide and has a lot of independent shops. There's a steam railway at one end. It goes to Bodiam Castle, which is about half an hour away by train.

For a day out, you're about half an hour from the coast at places like Rye and Camber Sands. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is a 20 minute drive. Bodiam Castle is about 25 minutes. If you like walking, the Weald is all around. Ashford and the Channel Tunnel are about a 20 minute drive if you're heading to France.
