Cosy Country Lodge is a first-floor apartment near Tenterden in Kent. It’s detached, up one flight of stairs. You get the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four, but in one bedroom with one bathroom. So it’s good for a couple or a small family. It’s a 4 Star place, which means it’s comfortable and well-kept. The rating is fair.
The apartment is in the middle of the countryside. You’ll see rabbits and birds from the windows. It’s quiet. There’s a bridle path at the end of the drive you can walk from. For longer walks, you’re near the High Weald National Landscape.
Tenterden’s about ten minutes away by car. It’s a nice little town with shops and pubs. The Tenterden Steam Railway is there if you like that sort of thing.
Within half an hour you can get to a fair bit. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is popular. The beaches at Camber Sands are about 25 minutes drive. There are several vineyards you can visit. Port Lympne and Howletts wildlife parks are close if you want a day out with animals.
For facilities: there’s parking right outside, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There’s a BBQ in the garden. No pets, sorry.
