Deer Cottage 1 is one of a pair on the edge of Fosten Green, overlooking orchards. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, a king and a twin, with one bathroom.
It’s a 4-star cottage, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The living space is open plan and the patio doors lead straight out to your own garden area. You get a table and chairs and a barbecue out there. It’s fenced off from next door so it’s private.
Beyond your bit, there’s a large shared garden with lawns, the orchards, a tennis court and a children’s play area.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right there.
Biddenden village is a five-minute drive. It has a couple of shops, pubs and places to eat. Tenterden is about ten minutes away and has more of everything.
You’re well placed for visiting things. Biddenden Vineyards is very close for tours and tastings. Hemsted Forest is good for walking and cycling. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is about twenty minutes by car. The steam railway runs from Tenterden. For a longer trip, the coast at Rye or Camber Sands is roughly half an hour.
If you need more space, you can book Deer Cottage 2 next door as well. There’s also a function hall on site that can be booked separately for events.
