Tudor Farmhouse is in Middle Quarter, near Tenterden in Kent. It's a big, detached house that sleeps seventeen people. There are seven bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not a show home.
The house sits in about an acre of garden, mostly lawn. You look out over fields. You'll see rabbits and plenty of birds. There's plenty of parking.
Inside, it's set up for a big group. There's a large living room, a dining room, and a second dining space or games room with a football table. The kitchen has what you need. There's a utility room with a washing machine. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is rural but not isolated. There's a good pub you can walk to. Tenterden is about three miles away for shops. Ashford is ten miles, and you can get the high-speed train to London from there in under an hour.
If you want to get outside, there's a bridlepath right at the end of the drive for walks or cycling. You're on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For water, Bewl Water is about a twenty-minute drive. The beach at Camber Sands is roughly half an hour away.
A few practical things: no pets allowed, sorry. And while it's perfect for big family gatherings, we ask no loud parties, no outside music, and to keep the noise down after 11pm.
