Brook Farm Annex Tenterden

Brook Farm Annex is a little place attached to the main farmhouse. It sleeps just two. It's got one bedroom and a shower room.

The rating is five star, which means it's been refurbished recently and everything's new. It's all on the ground floor, and the doorway is wheelchair accessible.

The living space is open plan. There's a kitchen area, a sofa, a TV, and WiFi. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.

You've got your own patio with a table and chairs. It looks out over the field where the sheep graze in summer. It's quiet.

The owners live in the main farmhouse. They keep donkeys, ponies, and some unusual chickens. You're welcome to say hello to them, but you don't have to. They sometimes run creative workshops, like pottery or painting, which you can book if you want to.

Tenterden's a nice little town about ten minutes away by car. It's got proper shops. Ashford is about twenty minutes drive. That's where you get the high-speed train to London.

If you like walking, you can go straight from the door into the lanes. There's local fishing and golf, and horse riding nearby if you book it.

You're in the middle of Kent here. Sissinghurst Castle Garden is about half an hour's drive. For a day at the coast, you can be in Rye or at Camber Sands in just over half an hour.
