Brook Farm Annex is a single-storey building attached to our main house. It sleeps two. It's wheelchair accessible, which means there are no steps to get in and the doors are wide.
The main room is open plan, with a kitchen area, a sofa and TV, and the bed at one end. There's a separate shower room. Everything is on the ground floor. You've got your own patio outside with a table and chairs. It looks over our paddock.
We're on a smallholding, so there are animals. We have two donkeys, some ponies, and some chickens that roam about. In the summer, we usually have sheep in the field. They're not right by your patio, but you can see them. If you're allergic, it's probably not the place for you.
Tenterden's about a ten minute drive. It's a nice town with shops and places to eat. Ashford, with the Eurostar station, is about twenty minutes by car. The Kent coast is easily doable. Rye, Camber Sands, and Hythe are all within half an hour.
For things to do locally, the National Trust at Sissinghurst Castle has the famous garden. It's about fifteen minutes away. There's also Bodiam Castle a bit further on. Good if you like history.
Facilities: there's Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. It's a 5 Star rating, which mainly means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. No pets, sorry.
