Blenheim Cottage
Blenheim Cottage is on our family farm here in Rye Foreign. It's a working sheep and fruit farm, about 200 acres. The cottage itself is one of a pair. You can walk around the orchard and the fields if you like. There are footpaths that lead off from the farm.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The cottage looks out over the fields. It's very quiet. You get your own patio area with a barbecue. Parking is right outside.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV and WiFi. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate too.
For shops and a pub, you need to go into Rye or the nearby village, which is about two miles away. Rye is the proper day out. Cobbled streets, galleries, cafes. The harbour and nature reserve are worth a visit. The beach at Camber Sands, with the big dunes, is about six miles.
If you want to explore, there's a lot within a short drive. Bodiam Castle and Sissinghurst Castle Garden are about half an hour away. Battle Abbey is a similar distance. The Kent & East Sussex Railway steam trains go from Tenterden to Bodiam.
