Pond Cottage is what it sounds like. It's a detached barn conversion on a farm just outside Peasmarsh. You'll see sheep and fruit trees out the windows. It's quiet.
It's rated four stars. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs. One's a double with a shower room attached, the other is a twin. There's another shower room upstairs too, so no queuing.
Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen at one end, dining table, then sofas by the fireplace. The fireplace is a proper inglenook with a wood burner. There are a lot of beams, so mind your head in some places.
The garden is yours. There's a patio with a table and chairs. It's south-facing so you get the sun. Parking is right outside.
In terms of facilities, it's got the basics. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
The nearest pub is a couple of miles away in the village, so you'll want a car. The coast at Rye and Camber is about a 20-minute drive. The sands at Camber are good.
For local walks, you've got Bixley Wood nearby. Bodiam Castle is worth a visit and is roughly 20 minutes by car. The whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so lots of country lanes and footpaths.
Sorry, no pets.
