Pond Cottage
Pond Cottage is on our fruit farm in Peasmarsh. It's a barn we converted a while back. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's decent and well-equipped. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both upstairs. One double with its own shower room, and a twin. There's another shower room on that floor too.
The main room downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting area. It's beamed and there's a big inglenook fireplace. The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Outside, there's a patio with furniture.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields and tractors going past sometimes. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walks right from the door.
The nearest pub is about two miles away in the village. For a day at the coast, Rye and Camber Sands are a fifteen-minute drive. Bodiam Castle is about twenty minutes by car. Hastings is half an hour.
Facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
