The Blue Loft
The Blue Loft is a self-contained loft building, detached from the main house. It's here on our land. The views are great, you can see all the way across the sheep fields to Rye. You can just see the hilltop of the old town from the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. One of the bedrooms and the shower room are on the ground floor. That bedroom has French doors that open out onto a decked terrace.
The property is rural. Our closest neighbours are the sheep. You'll need a car. There's a pub that does food about half a mile down the lane. The nearest shop is a mile and a half away in Rye.
Rye is a mile away. It's an old town, full of cobbled streets and history. It's got good pubs, restaurants, and places to hire bikes. You get a view of the Romney Marsh from there, which is flat and good for walks.
The coast is close. Camber Sands has a huge beach, dunes, and places that do watersports. It's about a ten minute drive. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is worth a visit, and the Saxon Shore Way walking path runs through here.
Inside, it's got central heating and a woodburning stove for colder nights. There's a TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. There is a seat in the shower. No pets, I'm afraid.
