Brittons Hill Cottage Kenardington

Brittons Hill Cottage is in Kenardington, which is out in the Kent countryside. It's a detached thatched cottage from the 1600s, so it's old. It stands by itself.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are old cottage stairs, so they're a bit uneven and steep in places.

There's a large kitchen and dining area that's open plan. It's a good space for everyone to be together. Outside is a big, enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue. There's also a hot tub for six people.

The village of Appledore is about two miles away. It has a shop and a pub that serves food. Ashford is a short drive. You can get a high-speed train from there to London if you need to. For the coast, Rye and Camber Sands are about twenty minutes by car. Dymchurch and Hythe are about half an hour.

Tenterden is nearby, about a fifteen minute drive. It's got a good selection of restaurants, shops, and pubs. You can also visit Chapel Down Vineyard there, or take a trip on the Kent and East Sussex steam railway. There's an indoor pool and gym there too, which is useful if the weather's bad.

Almost directly next to the cottage is Gusbourne Vineyard. You can walk there. They do tours and tastings.

The cottage has private parking for three cars. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and a large TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We take up to two dogs.
