Lords View
Lords View is in Ruckinge. It's on a farm. We've got about 200 acres here. The property is a stable conversion, all on one floor.
It sleeps up to six. Three bedrooms; one kingsize, two twins. There's also a sofa bed in the living room if you need it. Two bathrooms, both with showers. One of the bedrooms and the living room have patio doors straight out to the garden. The garden is enclosed.
We renovated it in 2019 so it's clean and modern inside. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's all on the ground floor and the doorways are wide, it works for wheelchairs. There's parking right outside.
You're welcome to walk around the farm land. There are public footpaths through it. We keep chickens, and sometimes sheep are in the nearby fields.
The village is quiet. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Ham Street. There's a pub about two miles away that does food.
If you want a day out, Port Lympne zoo is about a 20 minute drive. The coast around Dymchurch and Romney Marsh is about 15-20 minutes. Ashford is 15 minutes by car. You can get the high speed train from there into London in 38 minutes, or the Eurostar if you fancied France for the day.
It's handy for a couple of local wedding venues too, Odo’s Barn and Bilsington Priory, if you're here for that.
In terms of stuff here: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
