The Chicken Shed
The Chicken Shed is a bungalow near Bilsington, in Kent. It's detached. You get a big enclosed garden, which is handy. The views are over fields, they're nice.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home, it's a place to stay.
We run a smallholding next door. There are animals like goats and turkeys. Because of that, you can bring up to two dogs, but they must be on a lead whenever they're outside.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. There's parking right there.
The pub in Bilsington is about a mile and a half away. For a shop or a restaurant, you'd drive to Aldington, about two miles. The coast is about eight or nine miles if you fancy Whitstable or Broadstairs.
You can get to Canterbury in under half an hour. The cathedral is the main thing, but the city is good for a wander. Canterbury Cathedral has all the visiting information. Ashford International station is about a twenty minute drive. That's for trains to London or over to France.
