The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed is in Mersham in Kent. It's in the garden of our house, but it's separate and you get your own space. It sleeps two people in one bedroom up in the loft.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on one level except the bedroom, which is up a flight of stairs. They're not ladder-steep, but they are cottage stairs.
You've got a small, enclosed terrace out the front. It's good for a dog, or just sitting out with a coffee. Inside is open plan: kitchen, table, and a sofa. Upstairs is the bedroom and the shower room.
The village shop is a couple of minutes' walk. The pub, which does good food, is about ten minutes down the road. They have a garden by the river.
For the coast, Hythe is about a 20 minute drive. Folkestone is a bit further. Ashford International station is 10 minutes away by car if you want to get a train to London, or to go over to France on the ferry from Dover.
Included in the price: all bedding and towels, WiFi, and parking on the gravel next to the shed. We can provide a travel cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
