Cowslip Cottage
Cowslip Cottage is in Brook, Kent. It's on a working cattle farm, so you'll see and hear the cows. They're quiet mostly, but it's a farm. There's a stream and a pond between you and the fields.
It's converted from an old barn. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean and tidy. The stairs are a bit steep, like most cottages.
There's a wood burner for winter, and a terrace outside. The garden is enclosed. You get parking right there.
The Pilgrims Way footpath runs right past the gate. The village of Brook is close. It has a pub and an agricultural museum. For a proper day out, Ashford is about a 20 minute drive. You've got the shops and the outlet there.
Within half an hour you can get to Sissinghurst Castle gardens, or Leeds Castle. The coast at Hythe or Folkestone is about the same. Canterbury is slightly further, maybe 40 minutes.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
