Cold Blow Cottage
Cold Blow Cottage is one of ours. It's on our working farm in Folly Town, between Hastingleigh and Wye. It's detached and sits at the end of a lane, so it's quiet.
The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which basically means everything is in good order and it's well looked after.
Downstairs is all one room: kitchen, table, and sofas around the wood burner. The French doors go out onto a decked terrace. There's garden furniture out there.
Upstairs is a king-size room, a single room, and a large bathroom with a shower.
You're welcome to walk around the farm. We've got the usual cows and sheep, plus some chickens, ducks, and a few llamas and rheas. They keep to themselves mostly.
The village pub in Hastingleigh is about a ten minute walk. It's friendly. For a shop or more places to eat, Wye is about three miles away. It's a nice little town.
You're right on the edge of the North Downs Way here. The walking is good straight from the door. For other days out, Canterbury is about twenty minutes by car. Ashford and the coast at Folkestone are within half an hour.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, all bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside. There's TV and wifi. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning walks or visiting the area, the National Trust in Kent and Visit Kent sites are useful.
